Kitty completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, following a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology) also at the University of Sydney. Prior to joining our team she had gained valuable experience working at a primary tertiary hospital as a physiotherapist, and also at a private practice as an exercise physiologist. These experiences provided her with opportunities to work with a diverse range of conditions and populations.
Clinically, Kitty has a keen interest in musculoskeletal disorders, including shoulder and back pain, acute sporting injuries and women’s health physiotherapy. She is passionate about delivering patient-centered care through use of evidence-based practice providing education, manual therapy and individualised exercise programs to help her patients get out of pain, achieve their goals and prevent further injury. Kitty has completed her Clinical Pilates certification through APPI and uses mat and reformer Pilates to help her patients. She runs small Pilates group classes and one-on-one Pilates consultations, and also provides exercise physiology classes and appointments.
Outside of the clinic, Kitty enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying different cuisines, trains regularly doing powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting. Throughout high school and university she had participated in multiple social sports such as basketball, netball and dodgeball. She also loves being outdoors and is always on the hunt for the best hiking tracks and campsites. Kitty is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
