Chris Biasi
Physiotherapist
Chris completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. His passion for physiotherapy was deeply influenced as an adolescent marked by injuries, providing him with a firsthand understanding of the transformative impact physiotherapy has, not only in alleviating his physical pain but also the effect it can have on the mental aspect during rehabilitation.
Clinically, Chris has a keen interest in treating neck and back pain, contact sports injuries, post-op rehabilitation and the management of complex chronic pain cases. With a background in sports, hospital care and health science, coupled with ongoing rugby sports physiotherapy coverage, his joy lies in witnessing individuals not only recover from pain but also regain the ability to actively participate in activities they love, excelling in their sporting, recreational, and gym-based pursuits.
In his practice, Chris utilises a blend of hands-on techniques and personalised exercise prescription tailored to individual needs. He firmly believes in keeping patients well-informed about their condition and the step-by-step nature of the rehabilitation process. Chris’ previous experiences include over 6 years of sports coverage experience for the local Concord sports club Briars, for both men and women’s Rugby Union and multiple years as a hospital physiotherapist in Sydney’s South and physiotherapy experience with the Dulwich Hill football club in Sydney’s EPL 2.
Chris’ hobbies include playing rugby union and swimming, gym-based strength training, hanging out at the beach, the occasional video game and trying new restaurants with his wife.
