Darcy Hampton

Physiotherapist

Darcy completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology, Sydney. His passion for physiotherapy was deeply influenced by an adolescence marked by injuries, providing him with a firsthand understanding of the transformative impact physiotherapy has, not only in alleviating his physical pain but also the effect it can have on the mental aspect during rehabilitation.

Clinically, Darcy has a keen interest in shoulder injuries and complex chronic pain cases. With a background in sports and exercise science, coupled with previous career as a personal trainer, his joy lies in witnessing individuals not only recover from pain but also regain the ability to actively participate in activities they love, excelling in their sporting, recreational, and gym-based pursuits.

In his practice, Darcy utilises a blend of hands-on techniques and personalised exercise prescription tailored to individual needs. He firmly believes in keeping patients well-informed about their condition and the step-by-step nature of the rehabilitation process. Darcy’s previous experiences include sports coverage for AFL club Maroubra Saints FC and the Inner West Netball Association.

Darcy’s hobbies include playing rugby union and basketball, gym-based strength training, hanging out the beach and trying new restaurants.
