Mathew Reaiche

Physiotherapist

Mathew completed a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney, following a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at Australian Catholic University. Mathew gained experience working in multiple clinics across Sydney before joining our team.

He believes excellent results are achieved through the use of hands-on physiotherapy techniques and exercise prescription, as well as in-depth education, helping his patients understand the nature of their pain and injuries, and the causative factors. Mathew applies evidence-based practice and provides individualised treatment plans for his patients so that he can help them achieve their goals and return to their activities whether it be in the context of sport or exercise goals, work, or simply returning to normal activities of daily living so they can enjoy the quality of their life.

Clinically Mathew is interested in assisting people with musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, and he is also passionate about helping patients with their Post-op rehabilitation after knee and shoulder surgery. He has a strong interest in sport and exercise related injuries, having personally experienced injuries from years of playing football and doing resistance training.

Mathew has experience working in sports, having performed physiotherapy coverage for NSW NPL Football Club Bankstown United FC in the youth competitions. This has given him an understanding of the demands of sport & exercise and key strategies to injury prevention and rehabilitation in this field.

Outside of the clinic,  Mathew enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He continues to be involved in sport and exercise doing gym workouts and playing social football. He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
